The ILO is the UN specialized agency which seeks the promotion of social justice and internationally recognized human and labour rights. It has 177 member countries. (10/20/2003) InfoWorks Technology Company Developed Custom Label Printing Solution for Henrico County Public Library. InfoWorks Technology Company recently developed a custom label printing solution for Henrico County Public Library. This custom solution includes customized Label Maker software to work with the library Sirsi integrated library system and the customized label stock. Based on the Library's needs, InfoWorks Technology Company customized the popular Label Maker and designed the new label stock. (8/27/2003) SpyRemover Version 1.55 Released. InfoWorks Technology Company today released version 1.55 of the popular SpyRemover. This major release includes: improved user interface; detection and removal of more spyware and adware; and stopping of messenger popup Spam. (7/11/2003) New InfoWorks Label Maker Released. InfoWorks Technology Company today released the new version of InfoWorks Label Maker. The version 3.55 supports OCLC Connexion. Hundreds of libraries are using InfoWorks Label Maker for label generating and printing. The Label Maker works with OCLC Connexion, Passport for Windows, CatME, SIRSI, DRA, Dynix, Innovative, and other library systems.

(5/25/2003) Redland Shire Council Libraries Deploy WinSuite and ComRes. Redland Shire Council in Australia has licensed both WinSuite and ComRes to manage their public access computers. It is the first institution to implement both products at the same time. Both products will be run in their NT server based network environment.

(3/3/2003) InfoWorks Products Selected and Included in the Microsoft Windows XP Power Toolkit. Microsoft has selected, tested, and included InfoWorks products in their Microsoft Windows Power Toolkit. The products are SpyStopper and Popup Free. They will be distributed as third party power tools in the toolkit.

(9/16/2002) Government Agencies Licensed InfoWorks Link Checker. The Department of State and the US Government Printing Office have licensed InfoWorks Link Checker. The Department of State will use the Link Checker to check their TLC library system database. The Printing Office will use the Checker to check their library MARC record database. The Printing Office also licensed the Spelling Checker for Database Maintenance for their MARC record quality control.

Many libraries have licensed InfoWorks Link Checker to help them maintain URL links in their bibliographic databases. They include Contra Costa County Library, Indian River County Library, and University of Minnesota Duluth Library.

(12/14/2001) New Products Released. InfoWorks Technology Company has released two new products: Link Checker and ComRes. Link Checker is designed for librarians to check URL links in MARC records and bibliographic databases. It works directly with flat MARC files. ComRes is a public access computer reservation and scheduling system that is designed for libraries, schools, and computer labs to control access and manage time on public access computers. This move is prompted by the Company’s need for a larger space to better serve its customers and product development. Lillian has joined the Company as the Web Master/System Analyst. (6/20/2001) Our products were displayed and demonstrated at the American Library Association Annual Conference from June 16th to 19th in San Francisco. Hundreds of librarians stopped by our booth during the show.

(6/10/2001) InfoWorks Technology Company and Gaylord Information Systems have reached a licensing and development agreement. Gaylord Information Systems will license InfoWorks Technology Company’s Label Maker and integrate it into its new Polaris Integrated Library Automation Systems. InfoWorks Technology Company is working with Gaylord development team to implement the label generating and printing solution.

(6/8/2001) InfoWorks Technology Company has sold its InfoWorks Spelling Checker for CatME to OCLC. OCLC will provide the software to all of its member libraries. OCLC is a nonprofit membership organization serving 39,517 libraries in 76 countries. InfoWorks Technology Company will discontinue its development, marketing, and distribution of the software.
